"Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name." Rev.3:12

Vision

New Church

Pastor Collins speaks about “The Vision.”

I believe that a church that is involved in the community helps to make a better community. I see New Jerusalem Baptist Church as a place where anyone in the community can come and have an impact made upon their lives. The vision for New Jerusalem is to be a place of Ministry (Service) done the way the Lord Jesus Christ intended for the church to do it. With plans to at some point offer dental and medical service, it will be a place where people can come and receive a physical as well as a spiritual healing.

I truly thank God for the vision for New Jerusalem Baptist Church and for all those whom he sends to help make the vision come to pass. I believe that this ministry is special and is needed for this community, and that God has put us here for such a time as this.

The Vision:

  • After School Tutorial Program
  • Summer Enrichment Camp
  • Employment Training & Placement Assistance
  • Monthly Healthcare Services
  • Recreational League
